Comedian Eric Omondi was in the US for a tour where he was to perform at a series of shows in the states.

However, his fans in Baltimore never had the chance to laugh at his jokes as mayhem ensued when fans requested Eric to go on stage but he declined.

The comedian who arrived back home yesterday (Wednesday) spoke to Off The Hook in a phone interview and explained that the fans had grown impatient of waiting for him to come on stage.

“The problem was that the promoter was late and as per our agreement, he had to pay me before the show begun. Anyway, I told the fans to have a little patience since there was no hurry but they would hear none of it and hence the chaos,” said Eric.

The promoters he says are Kenyans who live in the US and had planned the event for other Kenyans in the diaspora.
